In June of 2020, I quit my full-time job with nothing lined up.

It might not sound like the smartest decision when you factor in a global pandemic and a country in economic turmoil. But it became clear that I was no longer going to advance at my 9-5, and I was ready to take my career into my own hands and start doing what I actually loved for once.

It was a huge risk, and I felt very overwhelmed and scared. But it motivated me to just keep pushing forward.

I started as a freelance writer drafting up blog posts and emails, writing company announcements, copywriting, and any other odd writing job that needed to be done.

This helped me stumble into a social media gig, where I learned the ins and outs of organic social and working for small businesses.

About Me

When I started freelancing, the only thing I knew is that I loved to write. I didn't know where I would land, what I would enjoy, or what a "perfect fit" looked like. So I tried out a little of everything.

In the four short years that I've worked in marketing full time, my expertise, interests, and creativity have completely evolved.

My thirst for knowledge has helped me perfect my writing skills and expand my portfolio to include email marketing, content strategizing, planning, and executing, paid social, SEO, metric tracking and analyzing, building brand recognition, ad copy, and more.

You name it, I do it. And if I don't do it, I'll learn how to do it. And I'll do it well.
